Message "File missing : docs/suspend" or "docs/logup"

What's going on? What shall I do?

In order to avoid massive download situations in which publishers would block access to the resource for the whole community, each user account is set so that the system will suspend it if it detects what seems like an abnormal activity.

Suspension will be automatically removed within 2 hours, except in case of serious abuse.

It is therefore recommended that you download the documents according to your real needs, when you need them.

If you believe the suspension is completely unwarranted in your research, you can contact us by opening a ticket in the helpdesk. Please detail in your ticket the name of the database(s) used and the specific needs you have.


You may encounter the error message File missing: docs/logup.htm which is similar but whose nature turns out to be different.

This message usually appears when you log in with logins that do not have access rights to the online documentation.

You may have selected a different establishment than Université de Rennes when you were asked to identify yourself, or you are using a computer on which someone else had previously identified.

Please note: paramedical students, whether or not they are members of the Université de Rennes, do not benefit from free access to the university libraries and therefore do not benefit from remote access to online resources.
