Tutorial: your data (subtitles in English)

Access and connexion

Your library account is available online from:

  • this website via the general menu or this page
  • Supernova.

 

To log in your library account:

  • User number = your Sesame ID
  • Password = your usual University of Rennes password

Students of ENS Rennes, ENSCR, INSA Rennes or Sciences Po Rennes, go through your ENT digital work environment, “Bibliothèques [Libraries]” tab, “Supernova [Discovery tool]” in order to access the Université de Rennes library account

A problem with your library account connection?

While making your request for a "BU drive", you may encounter this error message:

 

Erreur Supernova Koha non authentifié

This error is simply due to the order you performed the actions.

It is essential :

  1.     to log in to your library account first
  2.     then click on the "BU Drive" link.

If you encounter the error, go back, log in to your library account and then, once again search Supernova for the item you would like to borrow.The "BU Drive" link will work this time.

The library account services

With your library account you can:

  • Consult the list of your current loans and check the return dates,
  • Extend your library items, one time, for 30 days,
  • Make your drive request
  • Request a discharge that certifies that you are no longer bound by the library.

Confidentiality rules

You can choose how long your loan data is saved in the "Ma vie privée" section of your library account:

  • 4 months (default period),
  • forever (no end date),
  • never (data deleted on return of loan).

You can also delete this data manually at any time.

Warning: if the "default" setting is not updated, data older than 4 months will be permanently deleted as of November 10, 2023.
